A three-peak day traverse — Mt. Lubo, Mt. Ngusong Kabayo (625m, named for a rock outcrop shaped like a horse's snout), and Mt. Tangwa (602m) — through Sierra Madre foothills in Tanay. The circuit passes four waterfalls and one rappel section; climbers are asked to plant a tree as part of the trek's local environmental advocacy. A newer, less-documented destination than the other mountains here — no official trail-class rating exists, and the difficulty below is estimated from climber trip reports, not a published source.
Best months: November–April (dry season) — the bamboo-forest sections get slippery when wet.
Permits: Register at the Laiban Barangay Hall before starting; no DENR permit found, just barangay-level registration. A local guide is strongly recommended (~₱750/group) given the rappel section and river crossings.
