Mt. Daraitan

Rizal

739 masl

A forest and limestone climb in Tanay with a popular side trip to the Tinipak River's white marble boulders and clear pools. The barangay sits within Dumagat-Remontado ancestral domain, whose elders halted logging and mining in the Tinipak spring area in 1992.

Best months: November–April (dry season, safer footing).

Permits: Register on-site at Barangay Daraitan Hall (opens ~3am). Guide mandatory (roughly 1 per 5 hikers). Daily cap of around 300 climbers to the summit, with hikers beyond the cap redirected to the Tinipak River area only.
